We would like to draw your attention to several new instructions of the National Shippers Council of Angola, CNCA – Conselho Nacional de Carregadores de Angola – which are in force as from February 12 2015:
1.) The HS-Codes of the cargoes shipped have to be mentioned on the application form in their full length, meaning 8 (eight) digits
2.) The DU (Documento Único) number has to be mentioned on the loading certificate, consequently we are in need of a copy of the import license.
(Reference is made to the circular letter from the CNC dated 6th of February 2015 which you please find attached to this note).
3.) Shippers own container which are supposed to remain in Angola after shipment, are not to be considered packing any longer, but cargo instead –meaning that shipments of shippers own containers remaining in Angola are being charged from now on as follows:
shippers own container: USD 5,00 x cbm of the container unit as per attached
(also applicable for shippers own flat racks / OT, etc.)
(The contents are still rated as container load and are being charged as usual.)
