Clearwater Shipping Line is a branded name as a non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) and issues its own bills of lading. It allows Carry Cargo International Ltd to produce accurate and speedy documentation for our customers, which can be particularly important when working with letters of credit.
The Clearwater Shipping Line bills of lading are authorised through the International Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Association (FIATA). The conditions of carriage are laid down by FIATA and are on the reverse side of the bills of lading. These can be found here. Although, copies of the conditions are available upon request.
The bills of lading are multimodal (i.e. more than one mode of transportation), issued in parallel to master bills of lading from the carriers. They are proof of shipment of the cargo stated on the document, and are fully accepted as a working document with full title to deed (receipt of ownership of the cargo named on the bill of lading). They are fully compliant with standard Letters of Credit and are accepted by banking institutions worldwide.
Clearwater Shipping Line is a limited company, and owned by the freight forwarder Carry Cargo International Ltd.
